O. Kavli Älvsjö

Trepak has delivered a capping machine, Floating Capper®, to O. Kavli in Älvsjö. The customer was launching a new range and needed a machine with Floating Capper®’s capacity. When placing the order, the scope was not fully specified and was not completed until halfway into the project. Thanks to great flexibility on the part of both Trepak and O. Kavli, we were able to jointly navigate forward in the project.

The machine was installed in an existing line where space was very limited. The machine had to be in a room with a higher level of hygiene. The customer also ordered an induction welder from Trepak that would need to fit. To cope with this, Trepak has made an adaptation of the Floating Capper®, which means that the standard sliding door was replaced with an openable door. In addition, there is a separate path to the induction weld where the path transition takes place in the Floating Capper®’s side belt. The Floating Capper® stands in a food line and caps squeeze bottles, among other formats.
