Herdins
Trepak has delivered a capping machine, Floating Capper®, to Herdins Färgverk in Falun.
The machine was installed in a line where an existing capping machine of an older type stood. The old model could only handle a limited part of the customer’s range, which meant that some closures had to be handled completely manually.
The customer made the decision that the new machine would handle everything that was run in the line, and so it was. In this case, Floating Capper® handles screw caps and pressure caps completely automatically, and inside the shell there is also a trigger module that enables the tightening of trigger spray pumps.
The range extends from small 100 ml bottles up to 5 liter cans, and in total there are around 20 different closures. The wide spectrum of packaging and caps have been challenging but have been summed up in a machine that is equipped for the future.
Floating Capper® is installed in a chemical line where ATEX products are also produced. In addition to the capping machine, a conveyor and a couple of transfer belts have also been delivered to get a flexible and well-functioning solution.
